Film documentaries on crafts and artisans by AIACA (All India Artisans and Crafts Workers Welfare Associations) & Dastkar along with Theater workshops and street plays by steps for change will also be part of the Nature Bazaar.
This year, the key attraction to the festival will be the various exclusive evening performances which include:-
- 9th - 13th Oct : Folk performances from Bihar, Gujrat, Haryana, Maharashtra, Manipur, Nagaland, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.
- 13th - 17th Oct: Pabuji ki phad, A phad painting performance from Rajasthan
- 16th - 19th Oct: Musical performance by Been Players
The Dastkar food court popular because of its variety and authenticity, this time will boast of Rajasthani & South Indian cuisines apart from the ever favourite Hyderabadi Biryani . Other delicacies include Chole Bhature, Pao Bhaji, Golgappe, Bhelpuri, Kathi Rolls, Kulfi & Chuski.
The 2012 Dastkar Calendars reflecting the Nature Bazaar camel theme, and inspired by The Magical Ride of Juley -The Camel, a story written and illustrated by Premola Ghose especially for Dastkar, will be exhibited in the theme stall for sale at the Bazaar.
A special corner at the Dastkar Nature Bazaar will showcase products developed by Dastkar as part of the Accor Foundation Project.
