China's textile industry has achieved its revenue targets. The manufactured textiles and garments sector has clocked US$ 110 billion, growing at 7.5 percent year-on-year, during January-August 2011.
Growing at an annual rate of 10 percent, cotton clothing sector has earned revenue of US$ 88 billion, while cotton textiles sector earned US$ 32 billion, registering a 7 percent rise during the eight-month period of current year.
The earning targets have been achieved due to growth in demand for cotton products in China's domestic market along with the growing demand in international markets.
