Industry urged to promote Indonesian textiles during SEA Games

The textile industry of Indonesia has been urged by the Jakarta Tourism and Culture Agency to make most of the upcoming opportunity which is coming their way in the form of Southeast Asian (SEA) Games 2011, for promotion of the country's textiles.
The Agency has asked textile entrepreneurs in the country to use the opportunity to promote Indonesia's affluent culture and textile heritage to foreigners participating in or paying a visit to the country during the sporting event.
SEA Games, to be hosted by Jakarta and Palembang, would draw participation of 11 countries from the Southeast Asian region.
