Trident Group posts loss in Q2

Ludhiana, Punjab-based Trident Group, which is into production of yarns, terry towels and other items, has posted a loss of Rs. 196.4 million in the second quarter of 2011-12, compared to a net profit of Rs. 186.6 million registered during the corresponding quarter of 2010-11.
However, the total income of the company grew to Rs. 7 billion during the July-September period, as against the total income of Rs. 6.4 billion recorded during the same period last year, showing a growth of 9.37 percent.
