Green themes at Heimtextil 2012

The market for sustainable textiles is growing – and it is also growing at Heimtextil, the international trade fair for home and contract textiles in Frankfurt.
The trend remains unbroken: once again this year, sustainability is one of the major themes of Heimtextil, the international tradefair for home and contract textiles in Frankfurt (11 to 14 January 2012).
Messe Frankfurt GmbH will organize the fair.
On the first day, the fair will be accompanied by aseries of lectures under the catchword “Sustainability”. On the second day,under the title of “Green Hospitality – the balance between ecology and economy”,the current challenges posed by sustainable concepts in the hospitality industry will be discussed. All suppliers of green products are listed in the GreenDirectory according to different categories.
The special show “Green Exhibition– let it grow!” will present the latest innovations in the field of eco-textiles. The Stijlinstituut Amsterdam, which is a member of the HeimtextilTrendtable, will provide a visual interpretation of current product developments.
