China's textile enterprises completed a total investment of 610.2 billion Yuan into projects (above 5 million Yuan each) from January to November 2011, up 34.7 percent year on year.
The number of new projects increased 1.78 percent from a year earlier.
Among them, the cotton-spinning industry invested 150.3 billion Yuan, up 36.8 percent, chemical fiber sector invested 66.5 billion Yuan, up 45.8 percent year on year and the apparel industry invested 185.2 billion Yuan, an increase of 40.0 percent year on year.
