Second edition of Texprocess in June 2013

The second edition of Texprocess, leading international trade fair for the processing of textile and other flexible materials, will take place from 10 to 13 June 2013 in Frankfurt am Main.
This means that Texprocess 2013 will end at the same time as Techtextil, the leading international trade fair for technical textiles and nonwovens, which is being held in parallel from 11 to 13 June 2013. International market leaders will be showcasing their new technological advances and solutions for the apparel-manufacturing and textile-processing industries.
Detlef Braun, Member of the Executive Board of Messe Frankfurt, comments: "After the successful début of Texprocess in May 2011, we are now on our way to a second show. Of course, we are retaining it as part of the tried and tested double bill along with Techtextil.
The sector's response to this innovative trade-fair duo has been overwhelmingly positive. Only with regard to the dates, did both exhibitors and visitors express a wish for the two trade fairs to finish rather than start on the same day. So it is in response to this that we have changed the sequence of dates."
The members of the Garment and Leather Technology Association of the Association of German Machine and Plant Manufacturers are looking forward confidently to the next Texprocess show.
Elgar Straub, General Manager of VDMA Garment and Leather Technology observes: "The first Texprocess far exceeded all exhibitor expectations. For manufacturers, Texprocess has now become the leading trade fair, at which to present their latest innovations to an international public for the first time."
Texprocess covers the entire value-creation chain in the textile processing industry, from preparation, pattern design and cutting to sewing, embroidery and knitting - and includes IT, logistics and finishing. 326 exhibitors presented themselves, their products and services at Texprocess 2011.
Some 10,500 professional and trade visitors were attracted to the leading international trade fair, with a further 6,500 coming from Techtextil, which was held in parallel.
