Pakistan's Gul Ahmed Textiles gets award for exports

Gul Ahmed Textiles (Pvt) Limited, the leading textile mill in Pakistan, won an award at the eighth edition of Pakistan France Business Alliance (PFBA) Trade Performance Awards.

The firm received the award for being the largest volume Pakistani exporter of home textiles to France during 2010-11.

The annual award event is a milestone in Pakistan's corporate culture, as it identifies and honours major Pakistani producers and exporters to France.

The award, presented by the Ambassador of France to Pakistan His Excellency Philppe Theibund, was received by Ziad Bashir, Director of Gul Ahmed Textiles, on behalf of the firm, in presence of Pakistan's business fraternity.

The PFBA Trade Performance Awards aim to recognize the zeal and commitment of Pakistani enterprises for earning recognition and contributing to overall growth and development in bilateral trade.
