Co-optex opens export variety store in Hyderabad

The Tamil Nadu Handloom Weaver's Co-operative society Ltd. widely known as Co-optex has launched an exclusive export variety showroom in Hyderabad.

The showroom named 'Co-optex International Showroom' has been launched by the society to promote its international range of products in domestic market at prices commensurate with those prevailing in local market.

The product range being displayed at the new showroom includes table cloth, cushion covers, bed spread, runners, curtains, shopping bags, hand gloves and apron.

Established in 1935 with an aim to cultivate and promote the creative skills of co-operative handloom industry weavers and to develop a market for their products, Co-optex today operates a network of 203 showrooms across the country.

Over past 77 years of its operations, the society has established itself as a leader in the handloom industry, and achieved Rs. 2.18 billion in sales during last fiscal.
