Asian PX, MEG & PSF prices decline, PTA up

Paraxylene (PX) prices declined in the Asian market. In S E Asian region and were offered in the range of US$ 1240/ton to US$ 1245/ton. In F E Asian region, PX prices were offered at US$ 1225/ton. PX imported from Taiwanese market dropped down and were quoted in the range of US$ 1225/ton to US$ 1230/ton.

PTA prices went up in the Asian region. In S E Asian market, PTA prices surged up and were offered in the range of US$ 935 to US$ 940/ton. In F E Asian market, PTA prices were quoted at US$ 930/ton. PTA imported from Taiwanese market declined and were assessed in the range of US$ 915/ton to US$ 920/ton. In Chinese domestic market, PTA prices plunged down and were offered in the range RMB 7100/ton to RMB 7150/ton.

In S E Asian region, Ethylene prices stayed stable and were offered in the range of US$ 920/ton to US$ 925/ton. In F E Asian region, Ethylene prices inched up and were offered at US$ 855/ton. In U.S.A market, Ethylene prices went up and were quoted in the range of 45.00 cents/pound to 45.50 cents/pound. Ethylene prices stayed stable in European international and domestic market, and were witnessed at US$ 1055/ton and € 835/ton, respectively.

In S E Asian region, MEG prices went down and were assessed at US$ 840/ton. In China market, MEG prices went down in the range of US$ 825/ton to US$ 830/ton. In Chinese domestic market, MEG prices stayed steady and were quoted in the range RMB 6325/ton to RMB 6375/ton.

In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices remained steady in the range of US$ 1290/ton to US$ 1310/ton. In F E Asian market, selling offers were around US$ 1300/ton for export goods. In Chinese market, BG PET Chip prices went down and were offered at RMB 9050/ton.

In Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained steady and were offered in the range of US$ 1180/ton to US$ 1220/ton. In Indian market, FOB based price were quoted in the range of US$ 1220/ton to US$ 1260/ton. In Chinese market, FG PET Chip prices stayed stable and were quoted in the range of RMB 8775/ton to RMB 8825/ton.

PSF prices declined in the Asian region. In F E Asian market, PSF prices went down to US$ 1375/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF selling offers were offered at US$ 1275/ton. In Chinese domestic market, PSF prices plunged down and were quoted in the range of RMB 9675ton to RMB 9725/ton.

Prices of Polyester POY, DTY and FDY remained steady in Chinese domestic market and were offered at RMB 9650/ton, RMB 11100/ton and RMB 9500/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY, DTY and FDY stayed stable and were witnessed at US$ 1285/ton, US$ 1475/ton, and US$ 1245/ton respectively.
