Chinese PTA spot market trend on July 30

In East China, spot market offers of Purified Terephthalic Acid (PTA) were in the range of 7700-7750 Yuan/ton on July 30, and counteroffers from buyers were in the range of 7600-7650 Yuan/ton. The negotiation price was in the range of 7650-7700 Yuan/ton in terms of delivery by buyers or sellers. However, actual turnover was light.
For Taiwan cargo, market offers for PTA hovered around US$ 1,030/ton on July 30, while counteroffers from downstream buyers were in the range of US$ 1010-1015/ton, and the negotiated price was in the range of US$ 1015-1020/ton.
Market offers for Korea produced cargo were around US$ 1020/ton, and downstream buyers bid for US$ 1000/ton. Negotiations centred on price range of US$ 1005-1010/ton, but no deal took place.
