PSF, MEG & PX prices jump in Asian markets

Paraxylene (PX) prices increased in the Asian market. In S E Asian region, PX prices surged and were quoted in the range of US$ 1430/ton to US$ 1435/ton. In F E Asian market, PX prices were assessed at US$ 1425/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market increased and were offered in the range of US$ 1420 /ton to US$ 1425/ton.
 
PTA prices surged in the Asian region. In S E Asian market, PTA prices increased and were assessed in the range of US$ 1015/ton to US$ 1020/ton. In F E Asian market, PTA prices were quoted at US$ 1010/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market remained unchanged and were quoted in the range of US$ 1000/ton to US$ 1005/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices increased and were assessed in the range of RMB 7950/ton to RMB 8000/ton.
 
Ethylene prices remained unchanged in the Asian market. In S E Asian market, Ethylene prices stayed stable in the range of US$ 1120/ton to US$ 1125/ton. In F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were offered at US$ 1075/ton. In U.S.A market, Ethylene prices were stable in the range of 48.00 cents/pound to 48.50 cents/pound. Ethylene prices continued to be stable in European international and domestic markets at US$ 1195/ton and € 1075/ton, respectively. 
 
MEG prices moved up in Asia. In S E Asian region, MEG prices rose and were offered at US$ 1010/ton. In China market, MEG prices inched up and were quoted in the range of US$ 985/ton to US$ 990/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices remained steady in the range of RMB 7800/ton to RMB 7850/ton. 
 
In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices were steady in the range of US$ 1320/ton to US$ 1350/ton. In F E Asian market, selling offers were around US$ 1300/ton for export goods. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices went up and were quoted at RMB 9950/ton.
 
In Korean market, FG PET Chips prices continued to be stable in the range of US$ 1190/ton to US$ 1230/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1230/ton to US$ 1270/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices moved up and were offered in the range of RMB 9925/ton to RMB 9975/ton.
 
PSF prices increased in the Asian market. In F E Asian market, PSF prices were quoted at US$ 1560/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF selling offers were offered at US$ 1460/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices went up and were offered in the range of RMB 10925/ton to RMB 10975/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY, DTY and FDY increased and were offered at RMB 11325/ton, RMB 12600/ton and RMB 11300/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY, DTY and FDY went up and were assessed at US$ 1530/ton, US$ 1695/ton, and US$ 1510/ton, respectively.
