Uncertain environment does not deter Indian textile makers

Another Rajasthan based spinning mill – Shree Rajasthan Syntex which too delivered a revenue growth of 19.07 percent, however, witnessed its losses widening by a further 18.33 percent in the quarter.
Mr Vikas Ladia – MD of Shree Rajasthan Syntex says, “We changed the product mix by shifting a larger portion of our production towards cotton. We have also added more value-added yarns to our portfolio and alongside we also received coal linkage for our power plant which helped us utilise capacities to the optimum and in turn our sales too rose”.
