Ethylene, PTA & MEG prices climb in Asian markets

Paraxylene (PX) prices declined in Asian markets. In S E Asian region, PX prices went down in the range of US$ 1445/ton to US$ 1450/ton. In F E Asian market, PX prices were offered at US$ 1445/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market surged and were offered in the range of US$ 1465/ton to US$ 1470/ton.
 
PTA prices went up in the Asian region. In S E Asian market, PTA prices surged in the range of US$ 1035/ton to US$ 1040/ton. In F E Asian market, PTA prices were offered at US$ 1030/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market increased in the range of US$ 1020/ton to US$ 1025/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices inched up in the range of RMB 8100/ton to RMB 8150/ton.
 
Ethylene prices increased in the Asian region. In S E Asian market, Ethylene prices surged in the range of US$ 1205/ton to US$ 1210/ton. In F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were offered at US$ 1220/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices kept stable in the range of 57.00 cents/pound to 57.50 cents/pound. Ethylene prices were steady in European international and domestic markets at US$ 1295/ton and € 1135/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices surged in Asian markets. In S E Asian region, MEG prices inched up and were assessed at US$ 1035/ton. In China market, MEG prices surged in the range of US$ 1025/ton to US$ 1030/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices increased and hovered in the range of RMB 8175/ton to RMB 8225/ton. 
 
In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices continued to be stable in the range of US$ 1320/ton to US$ 1350/ton. In F E Asian market, selling offers were around US$ 1300/ton for export goods. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices remained stable at RMB 10150/ton.
 
In Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained steady in the range of US$ 1190/ton to US$ 1230/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1230/ton to US$ 1270/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices went up and were offered in the range of RMB 10000/ton to RMB 10050/ton.
 
PSF prices remained unchanged in Asian markets. In F E Asian market, PSF prices were quoted at US$ 1520/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF selling offers were assessed at US$ 1420/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices surged in the range of RMB 10700/ton to RMB 10750/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices went up and were offered at RMB 11250/ton, RMB 12650/ton and RMB 11150/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY, DTY and FDY increased and were offered at US$ 1520/ton, US$ 1700/ton and US$ 1490/ton, respectively.
