Asian PX, PSF & MEG prices up; PTA down

Paraxylene (PX) prices went up in Asian market. In S E Asian region, PX prices surged in the range of US$ 1490/ton to US$ 1495/ton. In F E Asian market, PX prices were assessed at US$ 1490/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market increased and were quoted in the range of US$ 1485/ton to US$ 1490/ton.    
 
PTA prices declined in the Asian region. In S E Asian market, PTA prices went down in the range of US$ 1065/ton to US$ 1070/ton. In F E Asian market, PTA prices were offered at US$ 1060/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market increased in the range of US$ 1060/ton to US$ 1065/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices went up in the range of RMB 8200/ton to RMB 8250/ton. 
 
Ethylene prices showed mixed trend in Asian markets.  In S E Asian market, Ethylene prices went down in the range of US$ 1280/ton to US$ 1285/ton. In F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were quoted at US$ 1300/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices went down in the range of 59.50 cents/pound to 60.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices increased in European international and domestic markets and were assessed at US$ 1380/ton and € 1200/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices went up in the Asian region. In S E Asian region, MEG prices increased and were assessed at US$ 1070/ton. In China market, MEG prices remained steady in the range of US$ 1060/ton to US$ 1065/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices stayed stable in the range of RMB 8175/ton to RMB 8225/ton.
 
In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices continued to be steady in the range of US$ 1320/ton to US$ 1350/ton. In F E Asian market, selling offers were around US$ 1300/ton for export goods. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices increased to RMB 10350/ton.
 
In Korean market, FG PET Chips prices were unchanged in the range of US$ 1190/ton to US$ 1230/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1230/ton to US$ 1270/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices declined and were offered in the range of RMB 10150/ton to RMB 10200/ton.
 
PSF prices increased in Asian markets. In F E Asian market, PSF prices were assessed at US$ 1535/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF selling offers were offered at US$ 1435/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices went up in the range of RMB 10875/ton to RMB 10925/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices remained stable and were assessed at RMB 11150/ton, RMB 12600/ton and RMB 11100/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY, DTY and FDY kept unchanged at US$ 1505/ton, US$ 1695/ton and US$ 1480/ton, respectively.
