MEG, PX & PSF prices drop in Asian markets

Paraxylene (PX) prices went down in Asian markets. In S E Asian region, PX prices declined in the range of US$ 1535/ton to US$ 1540/ton. In F E Asian market, PX prices were offered at US$ 1510/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market declined and were quoted in the range of US$ 1555/ton to US$ 1560/ton.      
 
PTA prices declined in the Asian region. In S E Asian market, PTA prices plunged down to US$ 1085/ton. In F E Asian market, PTA prices were quoted at US$ 1085/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market went down in the range of US$ 1090/ton to US$ 1095/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices stayed steady in the range of RMB 8025/ton to RMB 8075/ton.  
 
Ethylene prices showed mixed trend in Asian markets. In S E Asian market, Ethylene prices declined in the range of US$ 1275/ton to US$ 1280/ton. In F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were quoted at US$ 1230/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices remained steady in the range of 54.00 cents/pound to 54.50 cents/pound. Ethylene prices continued to be stable in European international and domestic markets, and were quoted at US$ 1340/ton and € 1160/ton, respectively.     
 
MEG prices dropped in the Asian region. In S E Asian region, MEG prices went down and were assessed at US$ 1060/ton. In China market, MEG prices surged in the range of US$ 1070/ton to US$ 1075/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices remained unchanged in the range of RMB 7825/ton to RMB 7875/ton.  
 
In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices were stable in the range of US$ 1420/ton to US$ 1450/ton and some deals were discussed in the price range of US$ 1410/ton to US$ 1430/ton. In F E Asian market, selling offers were assessed in the range US$ 1380/ton to US$ 1420/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices went down to RMB 10075/ton.    
 
In Korean market, FG PET Chips prices were unchanged in the range of US$ 1290/ton to US$ 1330/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices were offered in the range of US$ 1320/ton to US$ 1360/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices continued to be steady and were offered in the range of RMB 10000/ton to RMB 10050/ton.
 
PSF prices went down in the Asian region. In F E Asian market, PSF prices were assessed at US$ 1515/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF selling offers were quoted at US$ 1415/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices went down and were offered in the range of RMB 10575/ton to RMB 10625/ton.  
 
In the Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices remained stable and were offered at RMB 10950/ton, RMB 12450/ton and RMB 11000/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY, DTY and FDY kept unchanged and were quoted at US$ 1480/ton, US$ 1680/ton and US$ 1475/ton, respectively.
