Sales improve in Chinese acrylic staple fibre market

Acrylic staple fibre manufacturers in China have seen a rise in their sales in recent time. However, there is still scope for improvement in demand from end users.
At present, market offers for 1.5D cotton type fibre are stable in the range of 16,800-18,000 yuan/ton.
Manufacturers are currently quoting the prices of 3D tow top in the range of 16,700-18,000 yan/ton, while the prices of 3D top are in the range of 17,600-19,000 yuan/ton.
For imported stocks, market negotiations are light as buyers are not showing much interest in accepting offers around US$ 2.35 per kg for common acrylic products.
