Mexico to host textile, apparel & technical textiles expo

ExpoProducción, supported by the Cámara Nacional de la Industria del Vestido, and the leading industry publication in Mexico, MexCostura, will be held February 6 – 8, 2013 at the World Trade Center in Mexico City. This event will be the trade show of the year for those involved in all sectors of the production of apparel, home textiles and technical textiles.

For 3 days, attendees and exhibitors will be brought together to network and discover the latest products, services and technologies as well as participate in a comprehensive and leading edge program of education that will provide product manufacturers with the best tools to grow and improve their businesses.

Exhibiting at ExpoProducción will provide your company with the opportunity to showcase to the top decision makers your latest products, services, supplies, equipment, and technology for the apparel, home textiles, and technical textiles manufacturing industries.

Sergio López De La Cerda, President of the Cámara Nacional de la Industria del Vestido (CANAINVE), stated, “We have recently receive the great news that we will again have in Mexico a show that is dedicated especially for the apparel industry, where the best national and international suppliers to the industry will offer products and services to our sector from machinery, trim and technical and intelligent textiles.

Alejandro Faes, President of Mexcostura, the leading magazine for the apparel industry in Mexico and Central America, emphasized the importance of strengthening the internal market and promoting apparel exports from Mexico. “This is something that can only be achieved by becoming very competitive and offering high quality goods, which is why it is of vital importance to have this type of event where the apparel manufacturers will be able to find state of the art technology, textiles and all of the products in the supply chain.”
