Dec '12
Pakistan Lawn Week 2013, an exclusive trade-cum-fashion show that aims to highlight locally made different kinds of lawn fabrics for the domestic and overseas markets, will be held in Lahore from 28th February to 3rd March, 2013.

Several major and smaller stakeholders as well as international buyers from countries like the United Kingdom, Russia and India are expected to attend the event.

The four-day-long fashion and textile fair would showcase a range of spring/summer 2013-14 lawn fabric made apparels created by eminent Pakistani designers.

Other than the opulent display of lawn creations, workshops and lectures discussing different design ethos and other topics related to lawn textiles would also be held at the event.

Organized by the famous Pakistani event management company J&S, Pakistan Lawn Week will again be subsequently held in April 2013 in New Delhi, India.

Lawn is a lightweight, semi-transparent, mildly crisp cloth made of linen or cotton. The fabric is used in making dresses, blouses, nightwear, lingerie, curtains, collar cuffs, shirting and handkerchiefs.
