Jiangsu firms in Datong to set up textile park

A team of representatives of leading textile firms of Jiangsu province of China recently paid a visit to Datong city of Shanxi province to explore prospects for development of textile business in this city, China Daily reported.
 
Datong city’s Mayor Geng Yanbo held a panel discussion with the team headed by Hengli Group President Chen Jianhua, to discuss prospects of cooperation between both for setting up a textile industry park in Datong.
 
The Mayor noted that intending to enhance its focus on upcoming industries, Datong is presently going through industrial transformation and cooperation with textile majors could prove to be of great assistance in urban transformation. 
 
The Hengli Group President said that instant analysis and communication helped his team to better grasp Datong’s economic growth. He added that their companies expect this cooperation to prove to be a win-win proposition for all the parties.
 
The team also had a look at the equipments and production techniques used at industrial park and factories in Datong use, so as to get a better idea about the availability of infrastructure facilities at different factories.
