With the focus on how we look on the outside and also from the inside, Cosmetic Textile is the next best thing! From the research Eurovet and INTERFILIERE Hong Kong did in 2012, it became clear that many women and men wear intimates such as shape wear to look slimmer, feel better and to be fashionable.

Brands like Spanx are trend setters when it comes to shape wear. Many fashion brands today use the same fabrics and materials in garments in order to create the same slimming effect that many look for.

Fabric manufacturers have not sit still and keep on looking for new innovations and possibilities to make lingerie and intimates more functional. The market of Cosmetic Textile is quickly developing with currently a growth rate of 35% per year on average.

The field of micro-encapsulation is used in different sectors from medicine to food and beverage. For Cosmetic Textile there are 2 main uses; dermo cosmetics which are used for skincare.
