Nikola Tesla to start textile production in Herzegovina

Nikola Tesla, the public limited company in Banja Luka, the second largest city in Bosnia and Herzegovina, will soon start textile production in premises of defunct textile companies purchased by it in East Herzegovina region.
 
Nikola Tesla, owned by the government of Republika Srpska province, has bought the old building of the bankrupt Novoteks textile firm for 400,000 BAM (Bosnian mark), and the building of Ljubinjka textile company for 245,000 BAM.
 
The Banja Luka-based company will soon invest in repairing of damaged and dilapidated buildings of the old textile mills.
 
The company has entered into agreement with German firms for production of textiles, and it plans to generate 2,000 new jobs.
