Stefano Tonizzo signs as new head at Schoeller Textil

Schoeller Textil AG has appointed Stefano Tonizzo as head of the “Business Unit Knits” and, consequently, to the management. The newly-established Business Unit Knits encompasses all the areas relating to the topic “knits for the sports sector” and thus strengthens the strategic orientation of knitwear products in the portfolio of Schoeller Textil AG.
In June 2012, Schoeller Textil AG acquired the sports/professional sports and technical textiles areas from Eschler. The function of the new unit Knits includes responsibility for product development and sales.
In addition to the popular sports segments, the highly-technical and innovative knitwear products are also used in professional sports in the cycling and winter sports sectors. For example, in selecting their world cup wear, numerous national winter sports teams place their faith in “eschler, a schoeller brand” knitwear products. Stefano Tonizzo possesses a comprehensive knowledge of knit textiles hanks to many years working at Greuter Jersey AG. Since September 2010, he has been working in sales at Schoeller Textil AG.
