There will be a new thematic zone to be shown in the Houseware Fair. The “World of Fine Décor” is a prime location that showcases premium home decoration items, furniture, artificial flowers and artworks. Another highlight zone is the “World of Fine Dining” which shows the latest trends in tableware, kitchenware and bar accessories.
The Houseware Fair, Asia’s biggest fair of its kind, welcomes 17 regional pavilion including ASEAN Select featuring items from Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam and some other individual pavilions. Among them, the new comer Sri Lanka Pavilion will play host to 7 home ware suppliers and manufacturers this year. Buyers will see home ware and home textile products which have claimed their market position by emphasising creativity and answering consumers’ needs.
Consumers have become more conscious of global warming and other environmental impacts, they also emphasis on the health and product safety. Therefore, producing pro-environment designs and products become a key topic for of house ware producers.
Many pet owners now consider their pets to be family members, so they are very particular about selecting pet products. This year “World of Pet Supplies”, a highlight zone at House ware Fair, will introduce a full range of pet products that are becoming more “human” in design.
In Home Textiles Fair, besides the well-established thematic zones “Hall of Glamour”, “Baby & Bedroom Textiles”, “Bathroom & Kitchen Textiles”, “Carpet & Floor Coverings”, “Upholstery & Furnishing Product”, “Window Fashion & Accessories”, the fair will proudly present the new zone “Fine Handmade Carpet”, which highlights high-end handmade carpets with exquisite craftsmanship, beautiful colours and intricate designs from countries and regions famed for their high-quality work such as Iran.
Among various kinds of fabrics, cotton remains the most preferred material for consumers in the appeal market because of its comfort, nature and quality.
Visitors will be impressed by the wide range of home ware and home textile suppliers and manufacturers participating as well as the quality products displayed. Industry experts will inform buyers through lively presentations at the forums or seminars on a variety of issues including international house ware and home textile industry trend, design trend, e-tailing strategies, accredited testing and certification services and also fine carpets insight specially designed for the new “Fine Handmade Carpet” zone.
