Ethylene & MEG prices show mixed trend in Asian markets

Paraxylene (PX) prices decreased in Asian markets. In S E Asian region, PX prices declined and were assessed in the range of US$ 1425/ton to US$ 1430/ton. In F E Asian market, PX prices were quoted at US$ 1400/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market declined and were offered in the range of US$ 1445/ton to US$ 1450/ton.
 
PTA prices dropped in the Asian region. In S E Asian market, PTA prices fell in the range of US$ 1025/ton to US$ 1030/ton. In F E Asian market, PTA prices were offered at US$ 1025/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market remained stable and were offered in the range of US$ 1040/ton to US$ 1045/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices were assessed in the range of RMB 7575/ton to RMB 7625/ton.
 
Ethylene prices showed a mixed trend in Asian markets. In S E Asian market, Ethylene prices were assessed in the range of US$ 1200/ton to US$ 1205/ton. In F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were assessed at US$ 1180/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices remained stable and were offered in the range of 59.50 cents/pound to 60.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices declined in the European international and domestic markets, and were quoted at US$ 1280/ton and € 1035/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices showed mixed sentiments in Asia. In S E Asian region, MEG prices were offered at US$ 985/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices remained unchanged and were quoted in the range of US$ 1000/ton to US$ 1005/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices kept stable and were offered in the range of RMB 7350/ton to RMB 7400/ton.
 
In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices remained unchanged in the range of US$ 1430/ton to US$ 1480/ton and some deals were discussed in the range of US$ 1420/ton to US$ 1440/ton. In F E Asian market, selling offers stayed steady between US$ 1380/ton to US$ 1450/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices declined and were quoted at RMB 10025/ton.
 
In Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained unchanged in the range of US$ 1240/ton to US$ 1260/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices were stable in the range of US$ 1280/ton to US$ 1320/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices declined and were offered in the range of RMB 9325/ton to RMB 9375/ton.
 
PSF prices declined in Asian markets. In F E Asian market, PSF prices were quoted at US$ 1470/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF selling prices were assessed at US$ 1370/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices declined and were offered in the range of RMB 10175/ton to RMB 10225/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY remained stable at RMB 10600/ton, while DTY and FDY prices decreased and were offered at RMB 12250/ton and RMB 11125/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY remained stable at US$ 1445/ton, while prices of DTY and FDY dipped and were offered at US$ 1670/ton and US$ 1510/ton, respectively.
