Visitors were especially impressed by the high quality product range in each of the four exhibit halls, the interesting presentations, and the new "Fabric Finder" service, which allows a fabric to be digitally located in an instant.
The Trade Fair that ended in May again confirmed the long lasting and uninterrupted growth trend of PERFORMANCE DAYS. Fair organizers reported 688 visitors, representing an increase of 11.5% over the figure from May last year.
They received a lot of credit for their distribution of the exhibitors among the four halls and the fact that each hall had at least one highlight and a convenient meeting point. Presentations, PERFORMANCE FORUM, Bar & Catering as well as the Carrera slot-car race course provided a relaxed atmosphere between appointments, so that full concentration could be given to the exhibits.
It is also understandable that visitor satisfaction continued to increase. This May it achieved a 7.7 of a possible 10 points. Last year, it earned a grade of 7.5. The new exhibit space drew a lot of attention – from the indirect lighting of the textile dividing walls to the yellow and gray carpeting – entrances and exhibit stands had a bright and elegant appeal.
But of course, the fair is all about the innovations in the area of functional fabrics for active sports and workwear. The PERFORMANCE FORUM presented the 24 most interesting fabrics in the new categories – each fabric was assigned its own QR code and was fairly and equally presented. As reported in the survey, visitors were twice as likely to use the QR codes this time as they were last fall.
Simply by scanning this code, the visitor is quickly and easily able to call up an individual data sheet with all functional parameters for the desired fabric. Besides making expert data directly available, these codes also provide the opportunity to create a digital library with your own "wish list” of fabrics.
