Cotton yarn prices rise slightly in Chinese markets

Although the price of cotton is stable, the price of some 40s cotton yarn increased slightly in Chinese markets during the week ending June 24, according to China Keqiao Textile Index.
During the week, prices of most kinds of cotton yarn and T/C yarn remained stable. The price of A level cotton combed yarn 60s made in Liaoning Jinzhou was about 35,500 yaun/ton, while the price of A level cotton yarn 40s/2 made in Xinxiang Lianda was around 28,500 yuan/ton. The price of A level cotton combed yarn 32s made in Shandong Linxian was about 29,500 yuan/ton.
Meanwhile, there was a decrease of 100 yuan/ton in prices of some kinds of 20s and 30s viscose yarns. However, the prices of 30s/2, 40s and 50s viscose yarns remained steady during the week under review.
The prices of polyester POY 75D remained stable at 11,000 yuan/ton, while that of DTY 150D was 12,100 yuan/ton. However, prices of some kinds of polyester FDY and POY decreased during the week.
Prices of some kinds of seasonal yarns like Leli yarn, Island yarn, and SSY elastic yarn increased during the period.
