L&T Hydrocarbon bags order to build PX plant in India

L&T Hydrocarbon has secured an order of over `1000 crore to construct a paraxylene plant for a leading refinery in India. The company signed a memorandum of understanding to execute composite construction works, including civil, mechanical and erection and installation, for the project.

L&T will mobilise about 25,000 workmen and 600 staff for the project which will be executed over a period of 30 months.L&T Hydrocarbon provides complete design-to-build engineering and construction solutions for the oil & gas sector. In-house expertise, extensive experience and collaborations with strategic business partners enable it to deliver end-to-end solutions for every phase of project – from front-end design engineering through fabrication, project management, procurement, construction and installation right up to commissioning.
