Ethylene prices increase in US market

Paraxylene (PX) prices followed mixed trend in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian region, PX prices were stable and were offered in the range of US$ 1450/ton to US$ 1455/ton. In the Fareast Asian market, PX prices were offered at US$ 1435/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market remained steady and were assessed in the range of US$ 1455/ton to US$ 1460/ton.  
           
PTA prices remained steady in the Asian region. In the Southeast Asian market, PTA prices were steady and were quoted in the range of US$ 1085/ton to US$ 1090/ton. In the Fareast Asian market, PTA prices were offered at US$ 1090/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market remained unchanged and were offered in the range of US$ 1085/ton to US$ 1090/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices were stable and were offered in the range of RMB 7725/ton to RMB 7775/ton.
 
Ethylene prices remained steady in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian market, Ethylene prices were offered in the range of US$ 1215/ton to US$ 1220/ton. In the Fareast Asian region, Ethylene prices were assessed at US$ 1190/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices surged and were offered in the range of 53.50 cents/pound to 54.0 cents/pound. Ethylene prices remained stable in the European international and domestic markets, and were assessed at US$ 1335/ton and €1045/ton, respectively.  
 
MEG prices increased in Asian market. In the Southeast Asian region, MEG prices went up and were offered at US$ 1080/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices declined and were offered in the range of US$ 1065/ton to US$ 1070/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices surged and were offered in the range of RMB 7850/ton to RMB 7900/ton.           
 
In the Southeast Asian region, BG PET Chips prices remained steady in the range of US$ 1390/ton to US$ 1430/ton and some deals were discussed at around US$ 1380/ton to US$ 1400/ton. In the Fareast Asian market, selling offers declined and were assessed at US$ 1390/ton to US$ 1430/ton, while talked prices were offered between US$ 1370/ton and US$ 1390/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices were stable and were offered at RMB 10000/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained unchanged and were offered in the range of US$ 1220/ton to US$ 1250/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices declined and were quoted in the range of US$ 1270/ton to US$ 1310/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices declined and were assessed in the range of RMB 9325/ton to RMB 9375/ton.
 
PSF prices went down in Asian markets. In the Fareast Asian market, PSF prices were assessed at US$ 1470/ton. In the Southeast Asian market, PSF prices were quoted at US$ 1370/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices remained steady and were assessed in the range of RMB 10175/ton to RMB 10225/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY, DTY and FDY were stable at RMB 10400/ton, RMB 12000/ton, and RMB 10525/ton, respectively. In the export market, prices of POY, DTY, and FDY were stable at US$ 1445/ton, US$ 1665/ton, and US$ 1450/ton, respectively.
