Winners of PV Awards to be announced on Sept 19

The fabrics selected for the 2013 PV Awards, will be displayed in The Forum (new: hall 6) and the winners will be announced by Alessandro Sartori at The Forum on 19 September.

On September 9, the members of the jury met with Jury President Alessandro Sartori (Berluti), to select the nominees in the fabric competition.

These well-known fashion personalities made their selections from among the samples sent in by the Première Vision exhibitors for The Forum at the show (autumn winter 14/15 season).

92 fabrics are now in the running to win one of the 4 prizes: Grand Jury Prize, Handle Prize, Innovation Prize and the Imagination Prize.

4 prizes distinguishing textile excellence

Once again this year, the PV Awards showcase the extraordinary power of invention, imagination, renewal and creativity in textile fashions through four prizes:

- Grand Jury Prize 2013

For the most outstanding, most symbolic and most pertinent fabric of the season.

- Handle Prize 2013

For the fabric that allies the most astonishing tactile and behavioural qualities, the fabric that touches the senses and the emotions.

- Innovation Prize 2013

For the fabric that is the most innovative, the most intelligent, the most technological and creative.

- Imagination Prize 2013

For the most daring, the most original, the most surprising fabric in terms of fibre, technique, decoration or finishing.
