GPCA to host 8th annual forum from Nov 19 in Dubai

The Gulf Petrochemicals and Chemicals Association (GPCA) is all set to host its 8th Annual GPCA Forum, scheduled to be held from November 19 to 21, 2013, in the city of Dubai in United Arab Emirates (UAE).
 
According to GPCA, the 8th edition of the forum would be held under the theme ‘Innovation: The Foundation for Chemical Value Chain Leadership’ in order to discuss innovation’s importance in the value chain of the petrochemical sector which is vital for companies to succeed, prosper and lay the foundation of sustainable growth for future generations.
 
Abdulwahab Al Sadoun, secretary general of GPCA, said the history and growth of the Gulf’s petrochemicals sector has been underpinned by advancements in feedstock supply and feedstock innovation will be explored by industry leaders at the upcoming GPCA Annual Forum.
 
Over 1,700 delegates from 49 countries will be attending the forum where 15 petrochem industry leaders would be giving insights on the petrochemical sector and its developments. The plenary address will be delivered by Prince Abdulaziz Bin Salaman Al Saud, from the Ministry of Petroleum and Minerals in Saudi Arabia.
 
The keynote address at the three day forum would be delivered by Stephen Pryor, president of Exxon Mobil Chemicals, and other speakers at the event include James Gallogly, CEO of Lyondell Basell; John Rice, Vice Chairman and CEO, GE Global Growth; Ramakrishnan Mukundan, managing director Tata Chemicals; Shigeo Ohyagi, president of Teijin ltd., and more.
 
The GPCA forum is held annually by the association with an objective to provide a platform for networking and bringing together high-caliber industry leaders to share their expertise, and knowledge over industry related issues.
