The prices of acrylonitrile (ACN) fell in European and the US markets in the last fortnight ending October 31, 2013, due to sluggish buying trends and bearish feedstock prices, while they were stable-to-up in Asia due to tight product availability coupled with firm support from the upstream market.

In Far East Asia, average ACN price increased by 0.27 percent to US$ 1875/ton in the last fortnight ending October 31 compared to average price of US$ 1870/ton in the previous fortnight. On November 7, ACN price was assessed at US$ 1860/ton.
