The Craft & Hobby Association (CHA) the award-winning international trade association for the design, manufacture, distribution and sales of products in the nearly $30 billion craft and hobby industry, introduced the world’s largest international crafting show -- the CHA 2014 Conference and Trade Show, held January 10-14, 2014 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California.

CHA 2014 will bring together the entire crafts and creative industry for four days, with retailers small and large, independent chains, and vendors from across the world. CHA 2014 features over 450 exhibitors with the leading innovations in crafting with a New Product Showcase, Hot 20 Product award, and VIP Event.

CHA 2014:  Innovation – Education – Community

The premier place to see the newest in the growing crafting and hobby industry, from scrapbooking, sewing, fabrics, paper, mailings, gifts, stickers, and more, CHA 2014 is the trade show authority for crafting, with a focus on innovation, community and education.  A dynamic marketplace for crafting businesses, CHA 2014 offers opportunities to network with and learn from other industry professionals.

Bringing Celebrities & the Crafting Community Together

CHA 2014 will bring celebrities and the crafting community together, with appearances with Wheel of Fortune host and knitting enthusiast Vanna White for Lion Brand Yarn Company, America Now TV host and scrapbooker Leeza Gibbons for Prima Marketing, and Inside Edition host and crafter, Deborah Norville for Premier Yarns, among others.  The TV celebrities will appear at the show to talk about their love of crafting and techniques and launch new lines of yarn and scrapbooking products.

CHA 2014’s Conference and Trade Show features:

- Buyers from all over the world:  a creative marketplace for face-to-face networking and sales.

- New Products Showcase:  with innovations in product development and design.

- Hands-on workshops: lets exhibitors teach and engage directly with customers.

- Business Seminars:  learn about success secrets, with seminars from experts on Retailing, Website Design, Legal, Regulatory, Technology, and Design.

- Networking Events:  build community for valuable connections with industry professionals.

“Hot 20 Products” Awards

Twenty products will be chosen for the “Hot 20 Products” Awards at CHA 2014.  Last year, “Hot 20 Products” Awards were given to new crafting innovations, including Martha Stewart Crafts Glass Paint, specially formulated permanent premium paints that are dishwasher safe and UV/weather resistant;  FixNZip, a patented slider device that fixes zippers without tools; and Spellbinders Imperial Gold, four dimensional die templates that cut, emboss, stencil and deboss in multiple layers.
