Taiwan is one of the largest textile exporters in the world and the Taiwan textile industry is internationally renowned for its manufacturing excellence. Their superior quality yarn, innovative fabrics and textile products are now coming to India and will present their range of cutting edge textile products to Indian apparel manufacturers at the Taiwan Textile Fairs in South Asia 2013.

They will be held on November 19-20 (Tue/Wed) – New Delhi, Le Meridian Hotel, Inspire Hall and on November 22-23 (Fri/Sat) – Bengaluru, The Oberoi, Orchid Room.

With the Indian textile market expected to record a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 10.1 per cent over 2009-21 and reach US$ 221 billion by 2021, the Taiwan Textile Fairs in South Asia 2013 is the perfect opportunity for Indian apparel manufacturers to source superior, exclusive and unique fabrics and yarns that will add substantially to their product range while also introducing manufacturers to new product categories.

Sourcing the unique fabric & yarn from these Taiwan based companies will give a substantial competitive edge to Indian apparel manufacturers while also fuelling their growth in the growing domestic as well as international export market. In fact, the Taiwan Textile Fairs in South Asia 2013 is the ideal business match-making platform for Indian marketers, business buyers, partners, distribution channels & key decision makers.

The fairs will showcase a variety of products ranging from sports knitting, jersey, mesh & brushed fabrics, knitted, woven fabrics, lingerie, beachwear, homewear, nightwear, sportswear, thermal and underwear fabrics to functional fabrics, outdoor & sports fabrics, REPET recycled polyester yarns and fabrics, spandex fabric, textured yarns, high performance fabrics, and labels, badges and ribbons.

Organised by the Bureau of Foreign Trade (BOFT) & Taiwan Textile Federation (TTF) and represented in South Asia by Worldex India Exhibition & Promotion Pvt Ltd. The Fairs is supported by the leading textile associations of India, such as the Confederation of Indian Textile Industry (CITI) and Textile Exporters Association (TEA).

Taiwan Textile Fairs in South Asia 2012 was very successful, seeing over 800 buyers in just two days at New Delhi and Bengaluru respectively. Ms. Justine Cheng, Specialist, Marketing Development Department of the Taiwan Textile Federation remarked, “We were pleased with the response in 2012.

"The number of buyers to our show confirmed the strong potential of the Indian textile market. This year the Taiwan Textile Federation has organised a group of India-centric textile and accessory suppliers specialising in fashion, function and innovative eco-friendly products. These suppliers will not only provide you premium products, but also provide Indian exporters and manufacturers a full package with high quality control and long-term reliable service.”
