According to a statement issued by Municipality of Mouzaki, during his two-day visit, the Vietnamese ambassador visited the University of Thessaly—Department of Agriculture and met with the president of the department, with whom he discussed the possibility of cooperation on technology transfer and scientific training on the cultivation of cotton as well as student exchange programs.

During the two-day visit, the Vietnamese ambassador visited cotton ginneries in Thessaly to gain a comprehensive picture of mechanization of farming, harvesting and ginning of cotton, and also met with the president of Panhellenic Union of Cotton Ginners and Exporters, in order to discuss enabling direct purchase from Greek cotton ginners without the existence of intermediaries.
