MEG prices decline in Asian markets

Paraxylene (PX) prices remained unchanged in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, PX prices remained stable and were quoted in the range of US$ 1305/ton to US$ 1310/ton. In the F E Asian market, PX prices remained unchanged and were assessed at US$ 1280/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market declined and were quoted in the range of US$ 1305/ton to US$ 1310/ton.
 
PTA prices decreased in Asian markets. In the S E Asian market, PTA prices declined and were assessed in the range of US$ 930/ton to US$ 935/ton. In the F E Asian market, PTA price plunged and were quoted at US$ 930/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market declined and were assessed in the range of US$ 940/ton to US$ 945/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices remained unchanged and were quoted in the range of RMB 6540/ton to RMB 6580/ton.
 
Ethylene prices remained stable in Asian markets. In the S E Asian market, Ethylene prices remained unchanged and were quoted in the range off US$ 1395/ton to US$ 1400/ton. In the F E Asian region, Ethylene prices remained stable and were assessed at US$ 1400/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices increased and were quoted in the range of 50.50 cents/pound to 51.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices remained unchanged in the European international as well as domestic market and were quoted at US$ 1215/ton and € 940/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices declined in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, MEG prices plunged and were quoted at US$ 950/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices increased and were assessed in the range of US$ 955/ton to US$ 960/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG price remained unchanged and were quoted in the range of RMB 6875/ton to RMB 6925/ton.
 
In the S E Asian region, BG PET Chips remained stable in the range of US$ 1300/ton to US$ 1340/ton, and some deals were discussed in the range of US$ 1310/ton to US$ 1350/ton. In the F E Asian market, selling offers were assessed at US$ US$ 1320/ton to US$ 1360/ton, while talked prices were between US$ 1310/ton to US$ 1350/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices remained unchanged and were quoted in the range of RMB 8550/ton to RMB 8600/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained unchanged and were quoted in the range of US$ 1130/ton to US$ 1160/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices were assessed in the range of US$ 1190/ton to US$ 1240/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices remained stable and were quoted in the range of RMB 8500/ton to RMB 8550/ton.
 
PSF prices declined in Asian markets. In the F E Asian market, PSF prices were quoted at US$ 1510/ton. In the S E Asian market, PSF selling prices were assessed at US$ 1410/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices remained unchanged and were quoted in the range of RMB 9475/ton to RMB 9500/ton.
 
In Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices declined and were quoted at RMB 9550/ton, RMB 11400/ton and RMB 10200/ton, respectively. In the export market, prices of POY, DTY, and FDY remained stable and were quoted at US$ 1300/ton, US$ 1565/ton, and US$ 1365/ton, respectively.
