With more than 1,400 exhibitors from 23 countries and regions featuring at Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics – Spring Edition 2014, the range of apparel fabrics and accessories available to buyers for upcoming seasons is second to none.

For the very first time, the Spring Edition of this fair will take place in Shanghai, and will be held at an earlier date – 3 to 5 March – to better suit buyers. The fair is located at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center in halls 1, 2 and 4.

Featured in hall 1, the International Hall showcases exhibitors from Europe and Asia, SalonEurope remains one of the most popular features of the fair, and returns again this year with suppliers from Austria, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, France, the Netherlands, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey and the UK, and country pavilions from Germany and Portugal.

It will also house the Milano Unica Pavilion from Italy with premium products on display such as cotton, man-made fabrics, wool, silk, functional fabrics and knitted items.

Asian exhibitors from China, Korea, Pakistan and Taiwan will showcase functional, man-made and fancy fabrics and knitted products. And suppliers in the Japan Zone will present their latest high-quality cotton, knitted, man-made and silk fabrics. Also in hall 1 is the Verve for Design area, where buyers can source creative and original fabric pattern designs which are targeted towards the mid-range and high-end markets.

Hall 2 is where domestic exhibitors can be found, with a wide range of fabrics including cotton, silk, wool and man-made varieties on display. Domestic pavilions from Shengze, Shishi and Shaoxing will highlight these areas’ specialities, and the China Bast and Leaf Fibres Textile Association Pavilion will also be present in this hall.

Hall 4 also contains domestic exhibitors and an Overseas Accessories Zone, where reputed accessories suppliers will display their latest products including buttons, tape, metal accessories and more. Also in this hall is the Yarn Expo Pavilion, a designated fibre and yarn area featuring nearly 230 exhibitors from China, Hong Kong, India, Korea, Pakistan, Portugal, Singapore, Switzerland, Turkey, the USA and Uzbekistan.
