Groz-Beckert to show product portfolio at Saigontex 2014

The Vietnam Saigon Fabric and Garment Accessories Expo (Saigontex) is held in Ho Chi Minh City from 10 to 13 April 2014. The annual show is considered as the most important event in the textile and garment industry in Vietnam. Groz-Beckert presents its products and service highlights in hall 2, booth 2B-6.

Today’s dynamic markets demand more than "just" outstanding product quality and are constantly presenting new challenges. For the sewing industry the answer to this is SEWING5, the new service concept. It stands for the five S (Supply, Solutions, Service, Superiority, Sustainability), which collectively refer to Groz-Beckert's consistent customer focus. "Sustainability" plays an important role at Groz-Beckert.

This is evident both from the safe and environmentally friendly product manufacturing methods and sustainable packaging, and also from the certified quality, environmental and energy management. One aspect of "Service" are the technical centers which Groz-Beckert established worldwide. These centers possess comprehensive expertise in every sector of the sewing industry. The specialists here support customers with trainings and workshops as well as competent consulting and solutions for sewing technology problems.

In its product portfolio Groz-Beckert continuously works on developing the perfect needle for every requirement. The innovative needle geometry LoopControl of chain stitch and lockstitch needles helps to form perfect loops.

The needles with distinctive roundings are gentle on the material and cause less needle breakage. In addition, the seam appearance is improved. Groz-Beckert also holds available needles for fine materials or for material that is extremely difficult to sew. The special application needles SAN 10 and SAN 10 XS guarantee higher quality through best possible protection of the sewn material and contribute to the increased productivity.

In the field of knitting focus is placed on the circular knitting needles litespeed and Vo-LC. The litespeed needle for high-performance circular knitting machines allows enormous energy savings and a considerable reduction of CO2 emissions – due to the optimized needle shank geometry and the reduced weight.

Furthermore these needles optimize lubrication behavior and reduce oil consumption. The partially reduced needle shank thickness enables improved needle oil distribution, which, for example, leads to reduced friction in the needle trick and less energy required to move the needle.
