Ethylene prices increase in US market

Paraxylene (PX) prices remained stable in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, PX prices kept unchanged and were assessed in the range of US$ 1165/ton to US$ 1170/ton. In the F E Asian market, PX prices remained stable and were assessed at US$ 1145/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market stayed steady and were offered in the range of US$ 1165/ton to US$ 1170/ton.
 
PTA prices remained steady in the Asian region. In the S E Asian market, PTA prices kept inert and were assessed in the range of US$ 880/ton to US$ 885/ton. In the F E Asian market, PTA prices stayed stable and were offered at US$ 880/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market increased and were offered in the range of US$ 875/ton to US$ 880/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices remained steady and were offered in the range of RMB 6100/ton to RMB 6150/ton.
 
Ethylene prices showed mixed trend in Asian markets. In the S E Asian market, Ethylene prices declined and were quoted in the range of US$ 1435/ton to US$ 1440/ton. In the F E Asian region, Ethylene prices remained steady and were assessed at US$ 1425/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices increased and were assessed in the range of 51.50 cents/pound to 52.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices remained steady in the European international and domestic markets and were quoted at US$ 1230/ton and € 920/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices increased in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, MEG prices surged and were offered at US$ 940/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices increased and were offered in the range of US$ 915/ton to US$ 920/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices were stable in the range of RMB 6500/ton to RMB 6550/ton.
 
In the S E Asian region, prices of BG PET Chips remained stable in the range of US$ 1310/ton to US$ 1350/ton, and some deals were offered in the range of US$ 1320/ton to US$ 1360/ton. In the F E Asian market, selling offers kept unchanged in the range of US$ 1330/ton to US$ 1370/ton, while talked prices were offered between US$ 1340/ton and US$ 1380/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices surged and were assessed in the range of RMB 8500/ton to RMB 8550/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained steady and were quoted in the range of US$ 1140/ton to US$ 1180/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices were offered in the range of US$ 1200/ton to US$ 1240/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices kept inert and were assessed in the range of RMB 7900/ton to RMB 7950/ton.
 
PSF prices were stable in the Asian region. In the F E Asian market, PSF prices were offered at US$ 1485/ton. In the S E Asian market, PSF selling prices were quoted at US$ 1385/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices remained steady and were quoted in the range of RMB 8725/ton to RMB 8775/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices remained steady and were assessed at RMB 8750/ton, RMB 10900/ton and RMB 9400/ton, respectively. In the export market, offers for POY, DTY, and FDY were stable at US$ 1180/ton, US$ 1480/ton, and US$ 1265/ton, respectively.
