PX & PSF prices decline in Asian region

Paraxylene (PX) prices declined marginally in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, PX prices went down and were quoted in the range of US$ 1335/ton to US$ 1340/ton. In the F E Asian market also, PX prices dropped and were offered at US$ 1315/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market declined and were quoted in the range of US$ 1340/ton to US$ 1345/ton.
 
PTA pries showed steady trend in the Asian region. In the S E Asian market, PTA prices kept stable and were quoted in the range of US$ 1035/ton to US$ 1040/ton. In the F E Asian market, PTA prices remained unchanged and were quoted at US$ 1015/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market increased and were offered in the range of US$ 1010/ton to US$ 1015/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices fell and were offered in the range of RMB 7245/ton to RMB 7295/ton.
 
Ethylene prices remained steady in Asian markets. In the S E Asian market, Ethylene prices kept inert and were offered in the range of US$ 1490/ton to US$ 1495/ton. In the F E Asian region, Ethylene prices remained stable and were offered at US$ 1490/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices went up and were offered in the range of 67.00 cents/pound to 67.50 cents/pound. Ethylene prices kept steady in the European international and declined in domestic markets and were quoted at US$ 1280/ton and € 1000/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices kept inert in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, MEG prices remained stable and were quoted at US$ 995/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices declined and were offered in the range of US$ 985/ton to US$ 990/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices decreased and were assessed in the range of RMB 7350/ton to RMB 7400/ton.
 
In the S E Asian region, prices of BG PET Chips kept inert in the range of US$ 1345/ton to US$ 1385/ton, and some deals were concluded in the range of US$ 1355/ton to US$ 1395/ton. In the F E Asian market, selling offers were also stable in the range of US$ 1360/ton to US$ 1400/ton, while talked prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1370/ton to US$ 1410/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices remained stable and were offered in the range of RMB 9150/ton to RMB 9200/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained steady and were offered in the range of US$ 1190/ton to US$ 1200/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices were in the range of US$ 1220/ton to US$ 1250/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices kept steady and were offered in the range of RMB 9150/ton to RMB 9200/ton.
 
PSF prices declined in the Asian region. In the F E Asian market, PSF prices declined to US$ 1430/ton. In the S E Asian market, PSF selling prices fell to US$ 1330/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices declined and were offered in the range of RMB 9750/ton to RMB 9800/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY, DTY and FDY remained steady at RMB 9750/ton, RMB 11400/ton and RMB 10400/ton, respectively. In the export market, offers for POY and FDY kept inert at US$ 1340/ton and US$ 1425/ton, while DTY prices declined marginally to US$ 1565/ton.
