Itema exhibits at CAITME 2014

Italy-based Itema S.p.A, a leading provider of weaving machines, spare parts and services is exhibiting its products at the ongoing Central Asian International Textile Machinery Exhibition (CAITME 2014) in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan.
 
At Hall1 Stand A36 at the three-day CAITME 2014, scheduled to go on till September 12, 2014. Itema representatives will be on hand to share relevant information about the innovations embedded in its machines.
 
Itema is strongly committed to investing in the Central Asian markets and has a long history of working closely with Uzbekistan with the support of Motex agency, which has a representative office in the country, the Italian firm said in a statement.
 
During the inaugurating of the company’s stand at the trade fair, Piero Colombelli, Itema’s Sales & Marketing representative in the Central Asian region, said, “One of Itema’s targets for the next future is to be more and more present with our weaving machines in this beautiful region. We strongly believe that we can provide customers in Uzbekistan and the neighboring countries with the perfect technology, a tailor-made solution and great value for money – an overall win-win package which will undoubtedly further bolster Central Asian weavers’ renowned creativity and success.”

Itema is the only manufacturer in the world to provide the top three shuttleless weft insertion technologies: rapier, airjet and projectile. In the first half of 2014, the company’s sales grew at 12 percent year-on-year. The rapier R9500 model, launched less than two years ago, accounted for 50 percent of all weaving machines sales at Itema in the first half. (RKS)
