European & US PX prices fall from weak upstream trends

Weak upstream product prices in the region, led to paraxylene (PX) prices falling in European & US markets on Wednesday (1st Oct).

In Europe, prices went down by US$ 15/ton or 1.29 percent and were assessed at US$ 1150/ton on Wednesday, as compared to Tuesday.

In the US market, PX trends declined and were offered in the range of US$ 1150-1155/ton yesterday versus US$ 1170-1175/ton on 30th Sept.
