BG PET Chips' prices decline in Southeast Asian region

Paraxylene (PX) prices decreased in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, PX prices declined and were offered in the range of US$ 1060/ton to US$ 1065/ton. In the F E Asian market, PX prices plunged and were quoted at US$ 1045/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market inched up and were offered in the range of US$ 1080/ton to US$ 1085/ton.
 
PTA prices declined in the Asian region. In the S E Asian market, PTA prices dropped and were quoted in the range of US$ 785/ton to US$ 790/ton. In the F E Asian market, PTA prices decreased and were offered at US$ 765/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market went up and were quoted in the range of US$ 775/ton to US$ 780/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices inched down and were offered in the range of RMB 5695/ton to RMB 5745/ton.
 
Ethylene prices showed mixed trend in Asian markets. In the S E Asian market, Ethylene prices went down and were assessed in the range of US$ 1405ton to US$ 1410/ton. In the F E Asian region, Ethylene prices kept stable and were quoted at US$ 1450/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices moved down and were quoted in the range of 64.50 cents/pound to 65.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices kept inert in the European international as well as in domestic markets and were quoted at US$ 1180/ton and € 1000/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices went up in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, MEG prices increased to US$ 815/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices shot up and were assessed in the range of US$ 795/ton to US$ 800/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices decreased and were offered in the range of RMB 5800/ton to RMB 5850/ton.
 
In the S E Asian region, prices of BG PET Chips declined in the range of US$ 1170/ton to US$ 1210/ton, and some deals were concluded in the range of US$ 1180/ton to US$ 1220/ton. In the F E Asian market, selling offers fell and were offered in the range of US$ 1190/ton to US$ 1230/ton, while talked prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1200/ton to US$ 1240/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips’ prices went up and were assessed in the range of RMB 7925/ton to RMB 7975/ton.
 
In the Korean market, prices of FG PET Chips decreased and were assessed in the range of US$ 1030/ton to US$ 1070/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices hovered in the range of US$ 1040/ton to US$ 1080/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips’ prices climbed up and were offered in the range of RMB 7475/ton to RMB 7525/ton.
 
PSF prices plunged in the Asian region. In the F E Asian market, PSF prices fell to US$ 1215/ton. In the S E Asian market, PSF selling prices were down to US$ 1115/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices decreased and were quoted in the range of RMB 8300/ton to RMB 8325/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY, DTY and FDY kept inert at RMB 8550/ton, RMB 10650/ton and RMB 8750/ton, respectively. In the export market, offers for POY and FDY went up to US$ 1165/ton and US$ 1180/ton, respectively, whereas DTY prices kept inert at US$ 1460/ton.
