Textile Institute announces 2013 Institute Medal awardee

The Governing Council of the Textile Institute, a unique membership organisation for textile professionals and serves textile related industries worldwide, is set to award The Institute Medal of the Textile Institute for Medals and Awards 2013 to Dr. SK Chaudhuri, the founder and managing partner of International Inspection Initiative, an Indian company that specializes in inspection and quality control services for carpets and rugs purchased in India and China.

The prestigious medal will be awarded to Mr. Chaudhuri at the Textile Institute World Conference Awards Dinner in Wuhan, China, on the 5th of November, 2014.

The Institute Medal is the oldest award of the Textile Institute, inaugurated in 1921. The award recognises distinguished service to the textile industry and the Textile Institute and is granted to a member of the Textile Institute.
