US & European benzene trends tumble last week

Weak upstream product prices coupled with mute buying sentiments, led to European and US benzene prices tumbling in the last week ending Nov 15.
European average benzene prices slipped steeply by US$ 110/ton or a massive 9.69 per cent and were quoted at US$ 1025/ton last week as against its previous week ending Nov 8.
In the US, average benzene trends fell 20 cents/gallon and were spotted at 350 cents/gallon last week, albeit slower by 5.41 per cent from its previous week.
