Asian propylene declines last week from bearish buying

Propylene prices declined in Asia in the last week ending Nov 22, due to bearish buying sentiments coupled with weak downstream product prices in the region.

In Korea, average prices went down by US$ 60/ton or 5.22 per cent and were quoted at US$ 1090/ton last week, as compared to its previous week ending Nov 15.

In Japan too, average propylene prices fell by US$ 35/ton and were assessed at US$ 1120/ton last week, down 3.03 per cent from its previous week.

In the SE Asian market also, average prices dipped by US$ 35/ton and were spotted at US$ 1115/ton last week as against its previous week, a decline of 3.04 percent.

In India, average propylene prices too slipped by US$ 15/ton or 1.30 per cent from its previous week and were offered at US$ 1135/ton last week.
