Hike in buying interest lifts Asian propylene last week

Hike in buying interest, lifted Asian propylene prices in the last week ending Jan 9.
In Korea, average prices went up by US$ 10/ton or 1.53 per cent and were quoted at US$ 665/ton last week, as compared to its previous week.
In Japan, average prices shot up by US$ 40/ton and were assessed at US$ 575/ton last week, up 7.48 per cent from its previous week.
In SE Asia, average prices too leapt by US$ 30/ton and were offered at US$ 620/ton last week as against its previous week, an increase of 5.08 per cent.
In India too, average prices rose steeply by US$ 30/ton or 5.08 per cent from its previous week and were spotted at US$ 620/ton last week.
