Benzene prices lift in Europe but fall in US last week

Benzene prices lifted in Europe in the last week ending Jan 16 from rise in buying interest in the region.
In Europe, average prices went up by US$ 5/ton or 0.84 per cent and were quoted at US$ 600/ton last week, as compared to its previous week.
However, in the US, due to sluggish buying trend, average prices fell by 5 cents/gallon and were quoted at 195 cents/gallon last week, down 2.50 per cent from its previous week.
In Europe, average prices went up by US$ 5/ton or 0.84 per cent and were quoted at US$ 600/ton last week, as compared to its previous week.
