Propylene rises in Europe, falls steeply in US last week

Propylene prices rose massively in Europe in the last week ended April 3 due to gain in downstream product prices in the region; however, they fell steeply in the US from bearish product demand.
In Europe, average prices lifted by €55 /ton or 6.08 per cent and were quoted at €960 /ton in the last week, as compared to its previous week.
In US, , average prices went down by 5 cents/pound and were quoted at 35 cents/pound in the last week, as against its previous week, a decrease of 12.50 per cent.
