Chinese companies are entering Indian market and to further the objective, more than 100 Chinese apparel machinery companies would be participating in a trade show in India to display their products at reasonable prices.
The expo titled China Sewing Machinery and Accessories Show-India 2008 (CSMAS India 2008), will see participation by manufacturers like Feiyue, Typical, SGSB, Zoje, Jack, Tongyu, Founder, Takatori, Jinyum Laser, Xingdahao, North Phoenix and Chongqing Zero.
The event is scheduled to run from January 10 to 12 and will be one of the most exclusive Chinese apparel and allied machinery and spares trade show of India. Although the expo is annually held in Shanghai, it will be for the first time that it is organized outside the boundaries of China.
To be held at Bangalore International Exhibition Center, the exhibition will be jointly held by Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI) and China Sewing Machinery Association (CSMA).
The event will largely emphasize on displaying the latest technology, innovative approach, competitive pricing and high productivity.
The fact remains that China is the leader in sewing machinery manufacturing, accounting for more than 70 percent of the total world production. It is for this reason that CMAI has been in talks with CSMA to set up a training centre in India for Chinese machinery. Besides a warehouse would also help buyers get spare parts easily and at a lower costs without having to import it every time it is required.
